IRISL threatens court action to lift sanctions

Dubai: Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) has threatened to sue the European Union for reimposing sanctions on the containerline.

Iran and six nations reached a breakthrough deal on November 24 on Tehran's nuclear program. The two sides have signed a joint "plan of action". Nevertheless, the EU decided to reimpose sanctions on the containerline two days later, something that has led IRISL managing director Mohammad Hossein Dajmar to threaten court action.  [02/12/13]
