Hong Kong: Hong Kong-listed Jinhui Shipping and Transportation has made $56m from selling two handymax bulkers to Grimstad Shipping.
“The directors believe that the disposal will enable the group to enhance its working capital position and to strengthen its liquidity, and optimise the fleet size through this ongoing management of asset portfolio,” Jinhui Holdings said in a release.
Jinhui now owns 30 supramaxes, four panamaxes, a handymax and a handysize. [18/02/14]
