Beijing: As first reported on SinoShip News last week Capt Wei Jiafu has stepped down as chairman of the Cosco Group. Arguably China’s most powerful man in shipping over the past decade, Wei retires after more than 40 years at the nation’s top shipping line.
Also as predicted by SinoShip News Beijing has selected current president Ma Zehua to take on the chairmanship of the maritime conglomerate.
