Maersk Drilling jackup extended by CNOOC

Maersk Drilling has announced that CNOOC Petroleum Europe has exercised a one-well option for 2003-built jackup rig Maersk Innovator.

The rig has been operating at the Buzzard field in the UK, and the extension is expected to keep the rig on contract until June 2020.

CNOOC still has six one-well options remaining on the contract.
