Malaysian students destined for UK university

Kuala Lumpur: Home-grown maritime professionals graduating from the Netherlands Maritime Institute of Technology (NMIT) in EduCity in Malaysia can now go global by pursing degree and graduate qualifications from Southampton Solent University (SSU) in the United Kingdom.

Under a cooperation agreement signed yesterday, NMIT diploma holders will be allowed direct entry into SSU for internationally recognised graduate maritime qualifications.

The agreement also covers other areas of collaboration including staff and student exchanges, new academic programme development as well as joint research and consultancy.  [20/03/14]
