Maritime CEO Forum returns to Hong Kong with all-star lineup

Tuesday afternoon sees the Maritime CEO Forum return to the Foreign Correspondents’ Club (FCC) in the heart of Central, Hong Kong with one of the best lineups of speakers assembled in the three-year history of our forums.

Kicking off proceedings in the packed Main Dining Room of the FCC, Dr Adam Kent, managing director of Maritime Strategies International (MSI) will take a quick fire, 30-minute Q&A on the markets moderated by Maritime CEO editor, Sam Chambers. A tanker panel featuring heavyhitters such as Morten Arntzen from Team Tankers and Ridgebury’s Bob Burke follows. After a coffee break delegates will get a brand new panel called 2020 Vision. Moderated by Thomas Soderberg from Tribini Capital, the session will look at owners’ choices ahead of the global sulphur cap. This one-off special session features top owners and managers, a senior class executive and the head of one of the world’s largest registries to give a multi-faceted viewpoint of shipping’s most discussed hot topic.

As ever, the Maritime CEO Forum’s last session is focused on dry bulk with five owners on stage in a 60-minute panel moderated by Mandarin Shipping’s Tim Huxley.

Splash will be providing exclusive coverage of the event throughout the week.
