New Yangtze takes supra sisters

Two ships previously under ASM Maritime control have just been sold. Broking sources tell Splash that the two ten-year-old supramaxes, the 53,500 dwt bulker White Diamond and its sister ship, Blue Diamond, have been bought by Chinese concen, New Yangtze Navigation, in an en bloc deal set at just below $20m.

New Yangtze is a pure bulker player listed with a diverse and modern fleet of five handysizes , five supramaxes and one handymax. In addition it has two ultramaxes, and two of the same size on order.
