OOCL Brussels sprouts a problem in engine testing

Hong Kong: The 13,208 teu OOCL Brussels, which was meant to have entered the Asia-Europe trades a month ago, is still in dock at Korea’s Samsung Heavy Industries thanks to damage to the tail shaft during engine testing, the South China Morning Post reports. The ship will now be delivered on March 26. Repairs are likely to cost more than $2m, the cost of which will be covered by Samsung’s insurers. [20/02/13]
