Siem Offshore sells MRSV to Marine Platforms

Norwegian offshore vessel owner Siem Offshore has entered into an agreement with Marine Platforms for the sale of 2009-built multipurpose field & ROV support vessel (MRSV) Siem Marlin.

The vessel is expected to be delivered to the new owner this week. A price for the sale was not given, however VesselsValue puts a market value of $25.56m on the vessel.

Siem Offshore currently owns a fleet of 19 vessels, including six MRSVs.

Earlier this year, the company sold three PSVs, 2005-built Siem Sasha along with 2006-built Siem Louisa and Sophie Siem.

  1. It’s sad. She is a nice lady I have been working on her for almost 5 years. At hers age Marlin is in very good shape that some vessels are not being even much younger. Nice team, very professional, great Owner which let us to keep her in this past time being in good condition, great projects done over these 10 past years.
