Singapore selects Qatargas


Singapore: Singapore has concluded a deal witb Qatargas for its commissioning first ever LNG cargo. The fuel will arrive in the coming four months to commission Singapore’s first LNG terminal on Jurong island.
The Singapore LNG Terminal will be the first open-access, multi-user LNG Terminal in Asia. The terminal is expected to begin commercial operations in the second quarter of 2013 with an initial throughput capacity of 3.5m tonnes per annum of LNG.  [30/11/12]
