Shanghai: Sinotrans & CSC, a major state run shipping and logistics company, has signed with Nasdaq-listed Chinese Internet technology company Net Ease to develop e-commerce business, following China Shipping Group’s alliance with Alibaba last year.
The two companies will jointly develop businesses in international and domestic shipping, international cargo agency, and bonded warehousing.
Sinotrans & CSC will also provide shipping support for Net Ease’s new international shopping site kaola.com and will provide warehousing support for the site using its resources in domestic ports. [18/01/15]
