Singapore: Senior executives from member organisations of the Sustainable Shipping Initiative (SSI) will be meeting in Singapore today to launch a report and new set of tools to support progress in environmental and financial sustainability in the shipping.
They will be presenting to various members of the shipping industry details from the ‘Case for More Action’ report which contains an initial set of practical tools and project findings the SSI has developed for the past 18 months.
The SSI Singapore event is part of an ambitious long-term collaboration by a 21-strong coalition which unites leading organisations from across the supply chain within the maritime and associated industries and seeks to tackle global shipping sustainability issues. [23/09/13]
