Shanghai: Taizhou Sanfu Shipbuilding announced that it has inked shipbuilding contracts with a Singaporean owner for the construction of two 34,500 dwt chemical tankers.
Details of the order were not revealed.
Taizhou Sanfu has been diversifying its shipbuilding business from traditional bulk carriers and containerships. It also received orders for ten multi-purpose vessels from German owner in March this year.
