Technip takes Malaysian subsea construction vessel

Kuala Lumpur: A subsidiary of Daya Materials is to provide Technip Norge with a second offshore subsea construction vessel, Siem Daya 2, which will go on long term charter to the North Sea and the North Atlantic.

The charter is for a period of 100 to 175 days per year for three years, commencing in 2014 with options to extend further up until 2020 and is worth up to RM176m depending on utilization.  [05/09/13]
