TechnipFMC lands new contract with Petrobras

Subsea giant TechnipFMC has been awarded a contract by Petrobras to supply flexible pipes for the pre-salt fields offshore Brazil.

The New York-listed company will design, engineer, and manufacture 14 km of gas injection riser pipes and also supply associated services including packing and storage.

“We have an established team in place who have earned the trust of Petrobras over many years of collaboration,” said Jonathan Landes, president of subsea at TechnipFMC.

Earlier this year, TechnipFMC won a contract worth up to $500m to provide life-of-field services to Brazil’s state-controlled firm. The new deal is worth between $75m and $250m.
