Tianjin likely to follow Shanghai as free trade zone

Dalian: Tianjin in northeast China is likely to become China’s second pilot free trade zone after Shanghai.

The Tianjin municipal government has submitted its proposal to the State Council in Beijing to turn the bonded area of Dongjiang, located in the Binhai New Area on the city's eastern coast, into a free trade zone.  [12/07/13]
