Hong Kong: Univan Ship Management celebrated its 40th anniversary at a reception at Hong Kong’s new Maritime Museum.
“Our history is an important foundation for us to build a modern quality driven ship management company, where reverence for the seafarer and safety are paramount,” said Bjorn Hojgaard, ceo of Univan Ship management.
“At the same time we have a unique opportunity to introduce technology that can improve efficiency and reduce costs across the fleet. This way we can help the owners in the most effective way during these challenging times,” he added.
With this aim Univan has started a process of upgrading its systems, processes and IT to provide an integrated platform of tools to serve its customers better.
Univan has managed over 700 vessels from 2,000 to 320,000 dwt in its 40 years. [29/04/13]
