Velesto awarded two jackup contracts by Petronas

Velesto Energy has been awarded two contracts by Petronas for jackup rigs NAGA 3 and NAGA 5 worth a total of $10.8m.

The contract for NAGA 3 is for two firm wells with an option for an additional well, commencing between July 15 to August 15.

Naga 5 has been contracted for two wells, with two options, commencing between August 1 and August 30.

The contract award is the third announced by Valesto in three months, last month sealing a jackup contract with Shell and the previous month an 11-well contract with Roc Oil.
