Taipei: As it edges ever closer to its avowed goal of a century of ships Taiwan’s Wisdom Marine has returned to Imabari Shipbuilding in Japan for three 63,000 dwt bulkers. The trio cost a total of $86m and are due for delivery in 2017 at the busy Japanese yard.
The latest order means Wisom has 92 ships operating and a further 31 on order making it one of Taiwan’s largest owners. [06/01/14]
