Long Beach: Throughput at Yantian International Container Terminal (YICT) has jumped 10% in the first two months of the year, a source at the firm tells SinoShip News. “The majority of the growth is coming on the transpacific,” the source added. The growth is in stark contrast to most of its neighbours who continue to report flat growth. The eastern Shenzhen facility was created by Li Ka-Shing’s Hutchison Port Holdings in 1993.
