Shanghai: Taizhou Shipping, a subsidiary of Zhejiang Shipping Group announced that it had sold ageing 18,400dwt bulker Zhe Hai 323, now more than 20 years old and the fifth vessel sold in the past two years.
Taizhou Shipping said it has been optimizing the company’s capacity structure through disposing of old vessels in the fleet. Currently the average age of the company’s fleet is 4.9 years old. [02/07/13]
