Shanghai: Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries (ZMPC) has announced that it has signed a shipbuilding contract with Singaporean company Ultra Deep Solutions for the construction of a subsea support vessel, with an option for a further vessel.
The value of the contract is about $200m and delivery is scheduled in 2017.
ZMPC has scored offshore contracts worth a total value of RMB8.4bn in the first half of 2014, and has reported a net profit of RMB57.8m for the same period, 35.34% up on last year. [29/08/14]
