‘Significant milestone’ for Neptune as it ties up with BP
Singapore: Neptune Marine Services has signed a framework agreement with BP in the UK to provide subsea engineering services and support. “This contract is a significant milestone for Neptune in the UK, signifying the first agreement of this kind with a major subsea operator in the region,” the company said in a statement.
Neptune will offer its full suite of integrated engineered solutions which include conceptual and detailed engineering and analysis; manufacturing, assembly and testing; and offshore engineering support.
Perth-headquartered Neptune is soon to be taken over by Singapore-based MTQ Corporation. On November 28 MTQ’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Blossomvale Investments, declared its off-market takeover offer for all the ordinary shares in Neptune that it does not already own. [06/12/12]
