NYK orders two heavy lift vessels at Jinling Shipyard

NYK Bulk & Projects, a subsidiary of Japanese owner NYK Group, has placed an order at China Merchants Heavy Industry’s Jinling Shipyard for the construction of two 12,470 dwt heavy lift vessels.

Each vessel will be equipped with two cranes with total lifting capacity of 800 tons. Deliveries are scheduled in 2021 and 2022.

NYK Bulk & Projects currently operates a fleet of 39 vessels including nine heavy lift vessels.
