Offshore seismic service provider Shearwater GeoServices has been awarded a major survey to be acquired in South America.
The contract will start in the fourth quarter and last for six months. The company will utilise survey vessel to acquire data in around 8,500 sq km of water area. The vessel has been working offshore Brazil since March.
This month, Shearwater also secured a seismic acquisition and depth processing contract in Turkey.
