Fukujin Kisen books kamsarmax pair at NACKS
Japanese owner Fukujin Kisen has entered into shipbuilding contracts with Nantong Cosco KHI Ship Engineering (NACKS) for the construction of two kamsarmax bulk carriers.
Allied Shipbroking reported that the two 82,000 dwt vessels are scheduled for delivery in 2021. The value of the contract was not disclosed.
The order adds to the company’s existing bulker orderbook of two 61,000 dwt ultramax bulkers at Dalian Cosco KHI Ship Engineering (DACKS).
Fukujin currently owns a fleet of 38 vessels made up 26 bulkers, five boxships and seven tankers. It also has another four ships on order in total.
