Bertram Rickmers another step closer to NY listing with corporate makeover

Hamburg: In a further sign of Bertram Rickmers’ New York listing intentions, shareholders have voted to change Rickmers Holding, the parent of Rickmers Group, to a joint stock company rather than a limited partnership. The change is likely to go through next month with Rickmers Holding GmbH & Cie KG changing its name to Rickmers Holding AG.

Rickmers has been linked to a Wall Street IPO for some time, and this corporate change is another important step in getting the listing vehicle in place.
