Borealis sells boxship to Conbulk

Christoph Toepfer-led Borealis Finance has announced the sale of its 2005-built 2,478 teu containership Strauss for a price of $8m.

Splash understands the vessel, which has a fair market value of $8.4m according to MSI, was sold to Greek owner Conbulk Shipping and renamed Galloway.

The vessel had been operating in a pool run by Hanseatic Unity.
