Borr Drilling fixes all rigs

Tor Olav Trøim’s Borr Drilling has won a contract for the last free jackup in its fleet. The Keppel FELS-built premium rig Hild has been booked by an undisclosed operator for work in Latin America.

The New York and Oslo-listed jackup rig pure-play said the contract will start in the third quarter of 2023 following the conclusion of the rig’s ongoing activation.

The contract duration covers a firm term of 725 days at an estimated value of $123m, including mobilisation and demobilisation fees.

Following this award, all of Borr’s 22 delivered units are now contracted or committed, with no open availability until late Q3 2023.
