Borr Drilling lines up more work for jackup pair in West Africa

Tor Olav Trøim’s Borr Drilling has secured more work for two of its premium jackup rigs in West Africa.

The 2014-built Prospector 5 and 2018-built Natt have received a letter of award for work in direct continuation of their current contracts.

The contracts will have a combined duration of 1,307 days and a total estimated contract value is $211m.

The new deal will see Prospector 5 and Natt, both currently working for ENI in Congo stay contracted until May 2026 and December 2025, respectively.

The Oslo and New York-listed Borr has 22 jackups with two more units set to deliver from Singapore’s Seatrium, the former Keppel yard.
