Boskalis seals $120m worth of heavy lift contracts

Dutch owner Royal Boskalis Westminster has secured a multiple heavy marine transport contracts with a combined value of around $120m.

Boskalis secured a contract to transport an FPSO from China to Brazil utilising BOKA Vanguard, The weight will exceed 91,000 tons.

The company has also secured a contract for the transportation of various large LNG modules from a fabrication yard in China to Russia. The contract will utilise Blue Marlin and Black Marlin.

Lastly, Boskalis was awarded another contract for the transportation of an FPSO, this time from a fabrication yard in China to the North Sea, and the transportation of two floating production Ssystems from Singapore to the Gulf of Mexico. These cargoes will be transported on the White Marlin and Blue Marlin.

The contracts are scheduled to take place in 2021 and 2022.
