Greece’s Capital Product Partners has signed new time charter contract for a pair of 8,266 teu containerships.
The two vessels, Agamemnon and Archimidis, have been chartered to a “reputable operator” for a period of 12 months commencing April 2016. The charterer has an additional 12-month extension option available to it at an increased rate.
Capital said that after the deal its charter coverage for 2016 stands at 93%.
