Greek dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has found a new naked for 2010-built post-panamax bulker Alcmene, time chartering the vessel to Hong Kong-based BG Shipping.
, time chartering the vessel to Hong Kong-based BG Shipping.The charter, which has just commenced, is for 11-14 months at a rate of $11,500 per day. The rate is significantly higher than the $8,000 per day previously being paid for the vessel by Cargil.
Diana says the fixture will generate around $3.8m revenue based on the minimum time charter period.
