DOF awarded offshore wind contract by Siemens Gamesa

Norway’s DOF Subsea has been awarded a contract by wind engineering company Siemens Gamesa for 2009-built construction support vessel Skandi Constructor.

The vessel will be used for projects on several offshore wind farms in Germany starting April. The estimated duration of the contract is up to 160 days.

The vessel has previously been used by Siemens at the Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm Project.
