Estoril Navigation snaps up MOL LR1 tanker

Greek tanker owner Estoril Navigation has acquired 2007-built Japanese LR1 tanker Breezy Victoria, according to brokers.

Seasure Shipbroking and Advanced Shipping & Trading are both reporting that Estorial has paid around $13.5m for the vessel, owned by Japan’s Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL). The price is significantly higher than the $11.1m market value placed on the ship by VesselsValue.

Estoril Navigation currently has four aframax tankers in its fleet, although it has owned an LR1 previously, the 1987-built Gammatank which it sold in 2012 to Perenco.
