Esvagt ERRV pair extended by Equinor

Danish offshore vessel owner Esvagts has been awarded an extension by Equinox for ERRV pair Esvagt Bergen and Esvagt Stavanger.

The two sister vessels, performing stand work in the southern part of the Norwegian sector for Equinor, have had their contract extended through to 2022. The pair have been performing standby duties, supply duties, oil spill response and firefighting since 2011 and 2012.

Ib Hansen, head of commercial at Esvagt, commented: “We are delighted to continue the mutual cooperation that we have had with Equinor and the trust that it demonstrates. The two vessels have allowed us to firmly establish our presence in the Norwegian market, and we look forward to build upon that.”
