Farstad Shipping scores Petrobras double

Farstad Shipping has been awarded a pair of charter contracts from Petrobras in Brazil.

The 1999-build platform supply vessel Far Strider has been given a four year contract which is expected to commence in April. In October last year Petrobras terminated a contract for the same vessel, which commenced a four-year charter in mid-2013.

Additionally, anchor handling tug supply vessel BOS Turquesa has commenced a one year charter with an option for a further year.

Karl-Johan Bakken, CEO of Farstad Shipping, commented: “This is positive for the company, and a confirmation that we are succeeding in a demanding market”.
