Foroohari buys its largest vessel

Germany’s Foroohari Schiffahrt has bought its biggest ship in its 28-year history.

Alphaliner is reporting it has bought the scrubber-fitted 6,494 teu MH Hamburg for $32m.

The 2009-built ship is currently on charter to MSC through to early 2025.

Stade-based Foroohari has a fleet of 13 cellular containerships and also runs a fleet of multipurpose vessels.
