Golar gets FLNG green light from BP

Golar LNG has been given a limited notice to proceed by BP Mauritania and BP Senegal to provide an FLNG vessel for the Greater Tortue/Ahmeyim field, offshore Mauritania and Senegal.

Golar has subsequently given Keppel Shipyard a limited notice to proceed for the conversion of the Gimi FLNG over a period of four months.

The conversion work, worth up to S$50m ($36.44), will commence when a final notice to proceed is given.
