Golar LNG appoints new CEO

Golar LNG has announced the appointment of Iain Ross to replace Oscar Spieler as CEO.

Spieler had been the CEO of Golar LNG since May 2016 and led the company’s FLNG Hilli Episeyo project. He will remain with the group as an executive advisor and assist until the FLNG is delivered to its charterers, Perenco and SNH.

Ross joined Golar LNG from project delivery firm WorleyParsons, where he held executive level positions since 2002.
