Halliburton awarded Brazilian offshore contract by Shell

Houston-headquartered Halliburton Company has been awarded an integrated services contract by Shell for post-salt development and pre-salt exploration in Brazil’s Campos and Santos Basins.

Halliburton will provide drilling services for a period of three years, with a two-year extension option.

Anouar Fraija, vice president of Halliburton Brazil, commented: “Our integrated services model is designed to help accelerate new field development, reduce drilling and completion costs and increase recovery through the utilization of our innovative technologies and basin insight. We are excited to win this award and collaborate with Shell to deliver integrated solutions that maximize their asset value.”

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. He gained strong management experience in publishing, conferences and awards schemes in the shipping and legal areas, working on a number of titles including Lloyd's List. In 2009 Grant joined Seatrade responsible for the commercial development of Seatrade’s Asia products. In 2012, with Sam Chambers, he co-founded Asia Shipping Media.
