Harvey Gulf orders second LNG bunkering vessel at VT Halter

Quality Liquefied Natural Gas Transport (Q-LNG), which is owned by Harvey Gulf and its CEO Shane Guidry, has executed a letter of intent with VT Halter Marine for the construction a 8,000 cu m LNG bunkering vessel.

Q-LNG already has a 4,000 cu m LNG bunkering vessel under construction at VT Halter, which on delivery will go on a long-term charter to Shell Trading.

“We have entered into this letter of intent to advance the project through design verification, finalize our construction and pricing proposal, and arrange financing. Having the full commitment of VT Halter, we are confident that the construction of the second vessel for Q-LNG, will be equally successful,” said Guidry.
