Hercules Supply books up to three MPSVs at Fujian Mawei

Norwegian firm Hercules Supply has emerged behind an order for up to three multipurpose offshore support vessels (MPSVs) at Fujian Mawei shipyard in China.

The deal covers one firm 88-m-long newbuild, designed by Breeze Ship Design. The unit will be fitted with battery hybrid propulsion, moonpoool and be fit to accommodate 60 people.

The first MPSV is scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2025 and Hercules Supply has options for two further ships for delivery in 2026.

Fletcher Group will act as commercial and technical manager of the first vessel.
