Perdana Petroleum secures AHTS contract

Malaysian offshore marine support services firm Perdana Petroleum has been awarded a charter contract by compatriot RMS Synergy for one of its anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels.

The company’s subsidiary Perdana Nautika will provide the unnamed vessel with crews and equipment to carry out 24-hour services for assisting offshore projects.

The contract, worth around $1m has already started and will last for up to 60 days, the company, which lists eight AHTS units on its website, said in the Bursa Malaysia filing.
