Purus Marine in for LPG carriers at Hyundai Mipo 

Fast-growing UK-based Purus Marine has placed an order for four 45,000 cu m scrubber-fitted LPG carriers at Hyundai Mipo in South Korea, due for delivery from the second half of 2025 going into Q1 2026. Clarksons Research lists the orders as coming in at $68.69m per unit.

Established in 2020, the Julian Proctor-led Purus Marine has already acquired a fleet of more than 60 vessels in the ammonia and LNG sectors, battery hybrid offshore wind vessels as well as carbon capture and scrubber-fitted containerships and electric ferries.
