Scorpio Bulkers seals kamsarmax financing

Scorpio Bulkers has been given a loan facility commitment for up to $12.75m to finance a kamsarmax newbuilding due for delivery in the third quarter of 2018.

The financing is from an unnamed European financial institution and has a maturity date of five years.

The bulk carrier is under construction at China’s Jiangsu New Yangzijiang Shipbuilding.
