Seadrill drillship gets Gabon work

Seadrill Partners has secured a one-well contract for 2008-built drillship West Polaris from PC Gabon Upstream.

The one-well contract is for drilling offshore Gabon, with commencement expected in September 2019.

The contract, worth around $22m excluding mobilisation fees, will run through to the end of 2019.
