Wah Kwong expands shipmanagement operations to Genoa

Hong Kong shipping giant Wah Kwong has revealed it has expanded its shipmanagement operations to Italy with the acquisition of a Genoa-based shipmanagement company. Venture Shipmanagement Europe is the name of the new Wah Kwong subsidiary with offices in the heart of Genoa.

The Hing Chao-led shipping company now has offices outside Hong Kong in London and Genoa in Europe, as well as in Shenzhen, Qingdao and Weihai across China. 

As one of Hong Kong’s leading privately owned shipowners, Wah Kwong owns and operates a diversified fleet of ships in addition to offering a full range of technical and commercial management services with now more than 80 ships under management.
