Zhejiang Seaport Shipping orders feeder boxship pair at Yangfan Shipbuilding

Zhejiang Seaport Shipping has placed an order at Yangfan Shipbuilding for the construction of four 1,868 teu containerships.

Delivery of the vessels is expected start from the fourth quarter of 2021. Financial details were not disclosed.

Zhejiang Seaport Shipping is the shipping unit of Zhejiang Seaport Group, the integrated operating platform of the ports in Zhejiang province. The company currently owns a fleet of two bulk carriers and the new vessels will mark the company’s entry into the containership market.
