Diana Shipping fixes capesize to EGPN Bulk Carrier

Diana Shipping has entered into a time charter contract with Hong Kong-based Chinese owner EGPN Bulk Carrier for the 2007-built capesize vessel Boston.

The charter commenced this week and is for a period of 16-19 months at a charter rate of $17,000 per day. The vessel was previously chartered to Clearlake Shipping in Singapore at $13,000 per day.

Diana Shipping says the charter will generate around $8.16m based on the minimum time charter period.
